Inspiration: Eleanor Hardwick

Photography is a complete escape mechanism for me: I love the unusual and the dreamy which transport me to another land, so of course I'm slightly obsessed with Eleanor Hardwick's photography. At only 18 years old, she's already shot for clients including Harper's Bazaar, 125 Magazine and Jack Wills. Pure, raw talent.

Road Trip: Bamburgh

On Friday after work, I ventured up to Bamburgh on the Northumberland coast, where my boyfriend's mum was renting a cottage for a week. But as I was at work all week, Friday night was the only opportunity to make the trip up. We went for a walk on Bamburgh beach on Friday evening and the sunset was just spectacular. I am always entranced by them!

I have been a lazy blogger of late. Normal posting to resume this week with a trip to Headlam Hall, North Yorkshire for a long overdue spa day!

Inspiration: Glastonbury Festival 2011

So, I returned from Glastonbury over a week ago today....and it has literally taken me that long to recover! I had the most amazing time; well, I did whinge a bit about the mud at first but then accepted it and had the most amazing time. Here's a few photos of my time there (fashion, I had to say when slightly out of the window....mud and maxidresses don't work.)

Inspiration: Daydream, I fell asleep and met the flowers.

When I was in Oxfordshire visiting my sister around a month ago, I took these photos of the blossom trees in her little village; everything I love about Spring. Also, the weekend I visited saw the annual Ducklington Fritillary show taking place. I love village events like this...tea and cakes in the village hall, Church members selling souvenir tea towels...just brilliant. Properly English.
